We will assist the Personal Representative of an estate by:

• Obtaining values and appraisals of the decedent’s property
• Collecting the proceeds of any life insurance policies the decedent had
• Preparing and then filing all probate court documents
• Making appropriate elections and rolling over 401(k)s, IRAs and any other retirement plans the decedent had
• Monitoring the checking account of the estate
• Retitling any real estate that the decedent owned into the names of the beneficiaries or assisting with the sale of the property
• Settling any disputes that arise between the Personal Representative and the beneficiaries
• Advising on payment related to the decedent’s outstanding debts and final bills
• Requesting permission from the court for a variety of actions (as required by California’s probate laws)
• Distributing any remaining assets to the beneficiaries once the payment of the decedent’s bills and taxes are complete
